Abstract

The article is devoted to the anniversary of Robert Nigmatulin – Professor, DSc, Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific adviser of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of RAS. The article describes the contribution of Academician R.I. Nigmatulin in the development of National Science and its socio-political activities.
