Abstract
The 1st International Scientific Conference was held from the 28th to 30th of November 2017 in the Shirshov Institute Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, devoted to the 50th anniversary of the Chair of Thermohydromechanics of the Ocean of the Moscow Physical Technical Institute (University). Head of the Chair is Professor V.V. Zhmur. More than 50 reports of participants of the conference were made and the Proceedings of the conference http://icot.ocean.ru/index.php/o-konferentsii/sbornik.html were published.
