Abstract

The article is devoted to the anniversary of Vladimir Ivanovich Burenkov, PhD, leading Scientist of Ocean Optics Laboratory of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The article describes the contribution of V. I. Burenkov in the development of ocean optics.
