A monopulse Nd:YAG laser and laser system based on master laser – power amplifier architecture are proposed and investigated. The intracavity optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on KTP crystal (θ = 90°, φ = 0°) provides the generation of signal wave radiation at λs = 1572 nm and shortening the duration of monopulses of pump wave radiation at λp = 1064 nm. An increase in the energy of the monopulse radiation with λs occurs in parametric amplifier in KTP crystal (θ = 90°, φ = 0°). In laser system proposed, an increase in the energy of the monopulses of radiation from λp occurs in the Nd:YAG amplifier, which ensures effective generation of the first sum frequency λΣ1 = 635 nm (λΣ1–1 = λp–1+λs–1) in the KTP crystal (θ = 54°, φ = 0°) and generation of the second sum frequency λΣ2 = 452 nm (λΣ2–1 = λΣ1–1+λs–1) in the KTP crystal (θ = 67°, φ = 0°). Second harmonic radiation at λp/2 = 532 nm is generated in KTP crystal (θ = 90°, φ = 23°). The results obtained can be used to create lasers and laser systems for marine and oceanic radiometric lidars with increased depth resolution.
