A thematic issue of the journal "Oceanological Research" is planned
The Editorial Board of the journal "Oceanological Research" has decided to prepare a special thematic issue No. 54(3), dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Irina Petrovna Chubarenko.
The scope of articles is not limited, as I.P. Chubarenko worked in many areas of oceanology and limnology, including particle and microplastic transport, interactions of water bodies with the atmosphere, and their response to anthropogenic impact.
The issue is planned for autumn 2026 (no later than September 30). Submission deadline: 15.05.2026. Articles are accepted in Russian and English. The rules for formatting can be found at the link: https://jor.ocean.ru/index.php/jor/navigationMenu/view/authors

Articles can be uploaded independently via the personal account on the official journal website,

Since articles may cover various topics, the editorial board would appreciate recommendations of 2-3 reviewers not affiliated with the authors. The final decision on the selection of reviewers is made by the Editorial Board together with the Editorial Office.
The journal "Oceanological Research" is indexed in the RSCI, is included in the RSCI core, RSCI, the VAK list (level 2) and in the Unified State List of Scientific Publications EGLSP — "White List 2025" (level 3), the journal is not included in the old "White List 2023" (see Minutes of the meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group (IWG) on the formation and updating of the "White List" of scientific journals No. DS/122-pr dated 09.09.2025). Science Index rating (percentile in the Science Index rating — 17).
