Agenda: Preparation for printing of issue 53 No. 2 in 2025. Report by the Editor-in-Chief, Doctor of Physico-mathematical Sciences, Professor A. G. Kostyanoy.
Results: Reviewed manuscripts submitted for publication in the Journal of Oceanological Research in 2025 were reviewed. Thematic issue "Russia in the United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences. Resources and Knowledge" provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the results achieved by Russian scientists in carrying out work both on projects included in the international plan for the implementation of the Decade and within the framework of the national plan "Goals and main directions of Action of the Russian Federation within the framework of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Sciences". 16 thematic papers were submitted to the Editorial Office in the 1st and 2nd quarters.
The Editorial Board's portfolio in the 2nd quarter of 2025 consisted of 16 manuscripts, of which there were 12 scientific papers, 3 historical articles about personalities and 1 scientific and informational. As a result of the review and editorial and publishing work for No. 2 (53), they were prepared for release.
- 10 scientific articles,
- 3 historical articles,
- 1 information.
Thus, of the 16 manuscripts in the Editorial Board's portfolio, 14 articles were reviewed, which were prepared in Volume 53 No. 2, which made up 87.5% of the total number of articles in the portfolio. Of the 12 scientific papers submitted to the editorial board, only 10 have successfully passed a two-way "blind" review; 3 historical and 1 informational papers have passed a one-way review, since articles on this topic receive a simple recommendation from an editorial board member as not requiring double review. PDF versions of the articles are available on the portal in electronic form:https://jor.ocean.ru/index.php/jor/issue/view/36.
