2025-04-17

On March 31, 2025, a meeting of the Editorial Board of the journal "Ocean Research" was held in the remote conference mode. Participants: Editor-in-Chief, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Kostyanoy A. G., Head of the Editorial Board Pintar O. S., Editor-in-Chief of Issue No. 1, Volume 53 - Sviridov S. A., Literary Editor - Chief Specialist Vorobyova Yu. V., Chief Specialist - Printer Lyakhova N. A., Senior Engineer - System Administrator Danilin E. V.

Agenda: Preparation for printing of Issue 53 No. 1, 2025. Report of the Editor-in-Chief, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor A. G. Kostyanoy.

Results: The reviewed manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal "Ocean Research" in 2025 were reviewed. 25 thematic papers were submitted to the Editorial Board for the 1st issue of 2025, of which 8 articles were transferred from the 3rd issue of 2024, which were at the stages of reviewing and pre-printing editorial and publishing preparation. The remaining articles were received in the 4th quarter of 2024 and the 1st quarter of 2025.

The Editorial Board's portfolio in the first quarter of 2025 was formed from 25 manuscripts, of which there were 16 scientific works, 4 historical articles about personalities and 5 scientific and informational. As a result of reviewing and editorial and publishing work for No. 1 (53), the following were prepared for release:

  • 10 scientific articles,
  • 2 historical articles.

Thus, out of 25 manuscripts in the Editorial Board's portfolio, 12 articles prepared in No. 1 of Volume 53 passed the review, which made up 50% of the total number of articles in the portfolio. Of the 16 scientific papers submitted to the Editorial Board, only 10 successfully passed the double-blind review; 2 historical works on personalities passed the single-blind review, since articles on this topic receive a simple recommendation from a member of the Editorial Board as not requiring double review. PDF versions of the articles are available on the portal in electronic form: https://jor.ocean.ru/index.php/jor/issue/view/35.
