Agenda: Preparation for printing of issue 52 No. 1 2024. Report by the editor-in-chief, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor A. G. Kostyanoy.
Results: Reviewed peer-reviewed manuscripts submitted for publication in the Journal of Oceanological Research in 2024.
In the 1st quarter of 2024, 15 thematic works were submitted to the Editorial Board, of which 4 articles were transferred from previous issues of 2023. The Editorial Board’s portfolio in the 1st quarter of 2024 was formed from 15 manuscripts, including 12 scientific works, 2 historical articles and 1 informational. As a result of reviewing and editorial work for No. 1 (52), the following were prepared for release:
- 8 – scientific articles,
- 2 – historical articles,
- 1 – informational article.
Thus, out of 15 manuscripts available in the Editorial portfolio, 11 articles were reviewed, which were prepared in No. 1 of volume 52, which amounted to 73% of the total number of articles in the portfolio. Of the 12 scientific works submitted to the editors, 8 successfully passed the “double-blind” review; 2 historical works about personalities and 1 informational article underwent one-sided review, since articles on this topic receive a simple recommendation from a member of the editorial board as not requiring double review. PDF versions of articles are available on the portal in electronic form: https://jor.ocean.ru/index.php/jor/issue/view/31
