New Nomenclature of Scientific Specialties of the Higher Attestation Commission

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated March 23, 2021 No. 91-r, the scientific Journal of Oceanological Research (ISSN: 1564-2291) was included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations in 28 specialties for the degree of Candidate of Sciences and for the degree of Doctor of Science should be published.

On February 24, 2021, the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 118 was issued on the approval of the new Nomenclature of Scientific Specialties (registered with the Ministry of Justice of Russia on April 6, 2021 No. 62998), according to which the list of specialties was changed (given in the List). Since January 26, 2023, a specialty in chemical sciences has been added: 1.6.4. Mineralogy, crystallography. Geochemistry, geochemical methods of prospecting for minerals (chemical sciences).
